A-Gas International, a leading independent global specialist blender, re-packer, reclaimer and distributer of speciality gases and chemicals mainly to the refrigeration and insulation foam industries, is pleased to announce that the company has been placed in the latest issue of The Buyout Track 100 league table published in the Sunday Times.
The league table is produced by Fast Track, a leading British research company focusing on top-performing private companies and entrepreneurs. The Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 ranks British private equity-backed companies in terms of growth over their last two financial years. Now in its fifth year, The Sunday Times Buyout Track annual league table was published on 6th February 2011. A-Gas International placed 50th in this years league table were presented with the award at the Buyout Track 100 Awards Dinner, in central London on 8th March 2011.

The private equity firm Growth Capital Partners, backed a £32m secondary buyout from 3i in February 2007, taking a 40% stake in A-Gas International. Under Group Chairman John Rutley, profits have grown 39% a year, from £5.4m in 2008 to £10.3m in 2010.
