A-Gas International Welcomes Mike Gorham as Business Development Director – EMEA/Americas

A-Gas International is delighted to announce the appointment of Mike Gorham as Regional Business Development Director for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Americas.

Mike will be responsible for co-ordinating and progressing our business development initiatives in the West region, with particular focus on acquisitions, new business activities and supporting our local business development teams in UK, South Africa and US.

Mike will also support our Group Corporate Development Director Sally Fairman in developing our group strategic growth plans for our 4 Strategic Business Units (Refrigeration, Environmental Services, Industrial and Special Products, and Performance Chemicals).

Mike joined us on 20th February after 7 years at Lafarge, where his primary role was Vice President of Strategy and Marketing for their businesses in France, Korea and Algeria. Previous employers include PA International Consulting, Astra Zeneca and BOC. Mike has an MBA from Insead and is fluent in French.

We welcome Mike to A-Gas and wish him every success in his future role as we endeavour to sustain the growth of our business throughout the region.

New Portagas 116 L Disposable Cylinder
Portagas has just released its new 116 litre disposable cylinder into the Australian market.  This is the largest disposable cylinder available in Australia and offers considerable advantage over smaller cylinders such as the 58 litre cylinder:
•    Better value for end user

•    Half the cylinder change overs
•    Same footprint as 58 L and fits into standard calibration kits

•    Able to use same 58 L regulator

Nitrogen now in Australia
Nitrogen gas is available throughout Australia.
It is available in two popular cylinder sizes (D&E), which are lighter and easier to carry. The D size cylinders have a 10 litre capacity (1.8m3), while the larger E size holds 20 litres (3.6m3).
Available from all Airefrig and Realcold branches.
