For the second year running employees at A-Gas (UK) Limited have put on their lycra, flexed their muscles and successfully completed another coast to coast bike ride, this time raising money for a local charity closer to home, Portishead Youth Club.
The Cream of the Top team maintained a steady pace as they peddled their way across the 102-mile Devonshire coast-to-coast route, starting in Ilfracombe and finishing up in Plymouth.
The A-Gas team included Francis Burraston, Gwen Adamson-Dunn, Tony Hancorn, Robert Parker, Jon Sellars, John Burgess as well as Managing Director Ken Logan of A-Gas (UK) Limited and A-Gas International’s Sally Fairman.
The team’s efforts have so far raised £1,500 with money still pouring in from enthusiastic supporters.
“It was a fantastic challenge and we are all very pleased to be able to raise money for the youth club which provides a valuable service for youngsters in the community,” says a delighted Sally Fairman.
It is not too late to make a donation which can easily be done through Virgin Money Giving at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/creamontop
