Nitrogen gas is now available as part of the Heatcraft Gas2Go system. Nitrogen is recommended by the HB40 Code of Good Practice for pressurising and leak detection. It won’t contaminate a refrigeration system and prevents scale build-up.
It’s available in two popular cylinder sizes (D & E), which are lighter and easier to carry. The D size cylinders have a 10 litre capacity (1.8m3), while the larger E size holds 20 litres (3.6m3).
Just like the other Gas2Go refrigerants, Nitrogen cylinders are fully traceable. Serial numbers on each cylinder ensure a total tracking solution.
You’ll only pay for the days you actually keep the cylinder, at a modest rate of just 39 cents per day. (For example - pick up a Nitrogen cylinder on the 5th of October and return it on the 12th October. Your cylinder rental charge is 8 x 39 cents). At the end of the month, you’ll receive an invoice for the time you kept the cylinder.
