A-Gas UK’s facility at Portbury is located just outside Bristol, close to the M4 and M5 motorways. The facility is ISO 9001 registered and is fully licensed by the environment Agency as a waste management site for the recovery and recycling of HCFC and HFC refrigerants.

We offer reclaimed HCFC and long-term HFC refrigerants designed for both refrigeration and air conditioning industries. HFC refrigerants play a leading role in helping user industries meet the challenge of moving to new technologies and environmental regulations through direct replacement of R22. Our direct HCFC replacement solutions come from both DuPont® – the ISCEON™ range and Refrigerant Solutions – the RS range designed to replace R22 in a wide range of applications.

In addition to a range of reclaimed HCFC and HFC refrigerants we can offer non-fluorinated refrigerants such as ammonia, hydrocarbons and Carbon Dioxide (CO2), together with secondary heat transfer fluids such as MPG and MEG in 100% or dilutions as required. Oxygen Free Nitrogen (OFN) is also available from A-Gas for use in refrigeration servicing.

Since 2005 A-Gas UK has invested considerably in the provision of our own automated filling plant for both CO2 and for OFN. This bespoke plant allows A-Gas to fill their own fleet of over 10,000 cylinders from dedicated bulk storage tanks of refrigeration grade CO2 and OFN.

A laboratory equipped with extensive analytical and testing equipment provides both quality control and product development facilities. The filling plant employs the latest computerised filling equipment for a range of drum and cylinder sizes. With a large fleet of cylinders, all rated for the new high pressure HFC gases such as R410A, in conjunction with the A-Gas tracking system CyltrakTM this allows for optimum supply logistics. All cylinders are fitted with the very latest valve technology to ensure ease of use and integrity of contents at all times.

A-Gas UK supplies product in bulk (e.g. road tankers, isotanks) or in a wide range of returnable cylinders and drums which are available through Climate Center and FSW wholesale branch networks through the UK. We also export in bulk, disposable cylinders (where legally acceptable) and drums.
